Philip Bernabo is a hospitality professional with 15 years of experience. Over the course of his career Mr. Bernabo has held a variety of increasingly executive roles in the industry, including Server, Trainer, Bartender, Manager, and Assistant General Manager.
As a people person who has always enjoyed collaborating with (and learning from) others, Mr. Bernabo first sought out opportunities in the hospitality industry at a young age. He anticipated that the industry would offer unparalleled chances for him to grow as a professional individual. At the same time, the industry would allow him to constantly interact with others, so that he could expand his perspective and understand firsthand how to best serve guests’ needs.
After he managed to secure his first job and get his foot in the door, Mr. Bernabo’s predictions about the hospitality industry proved to be correct. Over the next 15 years he worked at various places alongside dedicated teams of professionals. In each role, Mr. Bernabo challenged himself to provide high-quality services, solve problems, and wow the guests who relied on them for a great experience. As a lifelong learner, he embraced the various challenges that the dynamic industry provided him each day. Simultaneously he cherished his role as a member of a team of top-tier professionals.

Mr. Bernabo has been a top server in various fine dining restaurants. One of his career highlights include going into management with Truluck’s Seafood Steak & Crab House, where he was able to take more of a leadership role and help operations run smoothly each day. Another favorite career experience of his was being recruited by Omni Hotels, a Dallas-based luxury hotel company providing top-notch hotels and resorts throughout North America. In both of these experiences, Mr. Bernabo had great profit and loss numbers in management. In addition to maintaining current levels of quality, he exceeded sales projections for both companies.
Outside of his professional career, Mr. Bernabo has various hobbies and interests. He enjoys various outdoor activities, such as kayaking and fishing. He also enjoys cooking and trying out new restaurants and bars. Finally, Mr. Bernabo enjoys volunteering. He has volunteered at various organizations, including a big cat sanctuary, a home for Alzheimer’s patients, two different AIDS Hospices, and a food kitchen.
